The Town of Rumford is accepting applications for Full-Time Police Officer.
Candidates must be 21 years of age and have a high school diploma, valid
drivers license and be in good mental and physical condition.
Applicant must show proof of a passing grade on the
Maine Criminal Justice Academy ALERT exam.
Applicant must have successfully completed a minimum of
Phase I and Phase II of the Maine Law Enforcement Pre-Service
Training Program or equivalence out of State.
All Applicants will be required to pass a background investigation,
medical exam, physical agility test, polygraph and psychological exam.

the Maine Criminal Justice Academy Basic Law Enforcement
